cheetah print jacket - vintage
white dress - H&M
hat - Topshop
boots - River Island
As most of my readers are also based in England, your reaction to this outfit is probably a resounding "wtf". The UK has been having a bit of a windy time the last few days which resulted in a bit of a battle with the elements while shooting these photos (aka the wind almost blowing my hat off and dress up simultaneously and me dropping the f bomb many times). But despite the weather I genuinely love this outfit. Although red lips and leopard print may equal slutty to some, I think it actually looks really striking in a quite retro way. I found the jacket quite hard to style as it's quite cropped, meaning it needs to be paired with the right thing to balance it out. Inspired by Sienna Miller, I chose to wear it with a white dress and ankle boots. I think this dress works well as it doesn't cut me out in any weird places due to the flattering skater style and the lack of colour lets the print stand out and do the talking. My mum treated me to this AMAZING hat when we were shopping this week and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. You all know my attachment to my bowler hat but expanding my collection has been hard due to my pea head. However this beauty fits absolutely wonderfully - thank you Topshop!
It was a wonderful surprise to receive an email from insidefruits letting me know that I was the featured blogger on their fortnightly series "I love your style". It still amazes me when people want to feature me on their blog as I'm by no means the biggest or best blogger out there, however having such lovely words written about me never fails to put a massive smile on my face. A big thanks again to Elizabeth for writing about me and if you want to check out the feature you can see it here!
