Last night was a rare occasion, in that I actually went out and had a social life (I can hear your gasps of shock). Me and some of my best friends spent the afternoon and night at Camden's Underworld watching some awesome bands and having a nice ol' catchup. As I was going to be at a gig I didn't want to look too dressed up but decided to use the opportunity to make a bit of an effort with my outfit. I have featured this skirt in a post before but in a very different way, as it's quite a statement with the metallic silver faux leather I decided to dress it down with black casual pieces. I love how t-shirts (especially slogan or band ones) look with pencil skirts it's a smart casual juxtaposition that always looks effortlessly cool and can be worn with heels or in my case, boots. I wear this Topshop pair to death but they're definitely one of my go to shoes and they work especially well with this outfit as the silver spike embellishment picks up the colour of the skirt as well as the detail of the necklace. You're probably all half-sick to death of seeing me in this hat but I'm obsessed with it, and it really does add a great finishing touch to any outfit. And the unicorn bag received a great reaction a few posts back so HERE IT IS AGAIN.
