A Very Cyprus Summer (Includes OOTDs)08:34
I've never considered myself a jetsetter, but my air miles as of the past few weeks may suggest otherwise. I just (and I literally mean I got home about twenty minutes ago) returned from a short visit to Scotland and before that went on holiday to the beautiful island of Cyprus. The 10 days I spent there were a giddy whirlwind of sightseeing, buffets, sunshine and copious non-alcoholic cocktails with wacky names - ordering a "Barbie Lady" sure makes you feel like sophisticated. The weather was a great deal hotter than England and we spent most evenings out of the hotel, giving me the perfect excuse to wear some the more outlandish pieces that may not fare as well back in Blighty. I even managed to wear my vermilion orange wide legged jumpsuit one night, thought it meant donning a pair of heels (albeit wedges) for the first time in my recent memory. The shopping wasn't anything exquisite as we stayed in a tourist resort but the food was to die for - I've fallen in love with swordfish and still dream of the pancakes with ice cream, white chocolate and strawberries that I very naughtily had one day.
I'm back to sixth form tomorrow which officially marks the end of summer (cry) but as the weather gets colder, I'll be able to wear my new wardrobe (yay!) - look out for soft-as-can-be black leather, tartan and the most gorgeous pastel pink wool coat I've ever seen. I can't wait...
