Today I went location scouting in London for the first time and it actually made me feel like a proper-cool-artsy-blogger. One small step for man, one giant leap for blog-kind and all that. The result of this search was a small side street just off Brick Lane boasting walls crammed full of vibrant street art ablaze with vivid patterns and humorous motifs - we even saw an artist at work on a piece, being watched in awe by a group of teenage tourists with DSLR cameras. My background of choice is an old garage with bright colours that I felt perfectly juxta posed the dark and almost gothic aesthetic of my outfit, tying in with the one non-black piece that are a pair of cut offs I bought from Urban Outfitters. As the shorts are, well, short an oversized shirt seemed the perfect partner - this particular number has a mullet style meaning everything is covered up and classy. The lipstick I'm wearing is one that I don't wear as often as I should especially as I am a self-proclaimed "bright lip kind of girl" however works in perfect harmony with the outfit, adding a touch of colour but not appearing out of place.
