Non-Fashion Favourites | June 2013

Hello everyone!

So I've tried out a new look collage this month for my favourites by adding a cute little pastel background and adding some text up the side - what do you guys think? This month has been a lot of fun and I've been especially loving these things in particular. On Saturday me and my boyfriend went to the cinema to see the much anticipated movie Despicable Me 2. As some of you may know I'm a huge Disney fan so I'm a sucker for a good animated film and this one did not disappoint. The cast was great, the plot was gripping and there was a huge amount of LOL-IRL moments - it's worth going just to see the hilarious final scene. If you're a fan of the first movie or not, check it out and you will not be disappointed. Due to my recent change to a healthier lifestyle I've been trying to avoid ice cream and I've definitely found the perfect substitute in frozen yogurt. I've been a fan of fro yo for ages but have never found an eat-at-home version (I normally go to shops like Snog in London). That was until I tried YooMoo - delicious, refreshing and a way healthier option if you're trying to wean yourself off Ben & Jerrys. Since I discovered her music around a year ago, Iggy Azalea has been one of my favourite artists and with the release of her new record dawning I have fallen back in love with her. She's stunning, seems super cool in her interviews, is talented and has amazing style to boot. And to top it all off she has an Australian accent - what's not to love? You've most likely heard of the Rimmel Apocalips lip lacquers by now and trust me when I say they're totally worth the hype. I bought two in the shades "Celestial" and "Big Bang" a while ago but this month I've been using them a lot. The colours are absolutely gorgeous and look amazing on, and the staying power is excellent - it's rare that a lip product stays on after I eat but these bad boys just don't budge.

I'm off to Northern Ireland tomorrow afternoon for a short trip as my sister wants to visit Queens University which is a very prestigious uni in Belfast. If you're interested in a photo post of not just Belfast but Northern Ireland (well, what I see of it!) in general let me know in the comments. I'll also be doing an outfit round up post when I get home. If you're interested in seeing updates while I'm there, follow me on Instagram and/or Twitter at @carackobama.

Hope you're all having a great day!
