Guess who's back, back again. Last Monday my laptop stopped working due to an issue with the hard drive, meaning I've been unable to blog for the last week. Boo. However everything has now been fixed meaning there will be plenty of posts coming your way in the near future! I wore this outfit last Friday when me and my lovely sister Sonia (who I will be style profiling in a new series coming in a few days) took a trip into London for a spot of shopping. I wanted to be comfortable and wear something that's easy to change in and out of quickly yet as London is one of the fashion capitals of the world I still wanted to look cool. In the end I decided to wear this dip hem (or high-low) skirt that I bought last summer yet never actually wore. I have no idea why as I love it - it's as easy to dress up with a pair of heels as it is to style it down as I've done here. To keep the flowy look I teamed it with a loose fitting black tank top and a long cross necklace. I opted to wear my cut out boots as the silver studs add a touch of embellishment to the otherwise minimal outfit. I alternated between two other accessories which both give a different edge. The round John Lennon inspired sunglasses keep the carefree grungy vibe while also protecting my otherwise squinty eyes from the sun. The neon beanie - while may seeming like an odd choice for summertime - adds a refreshing burst of colour to the dark outfit while also giving a subtle nod to the citrus brights trend that has been spotted all over the runway.
