My Favourite Looks From The BAFTAS!03:08
Being a Brit, one of my favourite awards bashes of the film and TV world is the British Academy of Film and Television Arts - or as you probably know it, the BAFTAs. The annual film awards was on Sunday evening and all the stars showed up - from Helen Mirren and her amazing new pink do to Anne Hathaway, who won Best Supporting Actress for her incredible performance in Les Miserables. The fashion was on point as usual - there were pops of colour, flashes of embellishments and daring necklines as far as the eye could see.
Forever one of my favourite actresses, Anne Hathaway looked chic in a floor length Burberry gown with studded bodice. I love her hair at the moment, not many ladies can work such a do yet Anne makes it look elegant yet still edgy. BOW.
Best Actress nominee Jessica Chastain wore a metallic blue Ronald Mouret gown which suited her fair complexion perfectly. This is a welcome change as I disliked Chastain's Golden Globes dress - amazing what the right shade of blue can do, eh?
My number one look of the night had to be Marion Cotillard who looked incredible in a canary yellow strapless gown by Dior. I'm in love with the detailing of this dress - it's so hard to pull off yet Marion does to perfection. Love her Chopard jewellery and red lip as well.
If you didn't think Dame Helen Mirren was the raddest Hollywood veteran, look at the photo above. And again. Combining THAT pink hair with a Nicholas Oakwell Couture gown, the actress looks like a queen straight out of a Disney film. Love it.
As well as scooping the coveted EE Rising Star BAFTA, Juno Temple was a winner in the style stakes wearing a white floor length Stella McCartney gown combined with Asprey jewellery. Simple doesn't have to be boring!
Do I need to say anything? He is perfect. I am in love with him. Sigh.
What were your favourite looks from the BAFTAs? Would you wear any of these?
