What I Got For Christmas AND Sales Buys!

06:27

So Christmas was a few weeks ago and I had an amazing time, I spent the day with my family and it was just lovely - especially all the food! I recieved some fantastic presents including some beauty items which I've decided to include in this post as I just love seeing what other bloggers got for Christmas! I also bought a few things in the sales and with my Christmas money - on the whole I was impressed with the sales this year even if I didn't buy that much.

I had my eye on this t-shirt for a while after seeing it in a Topshop store in Northern Ireland while visiting my grandma but didn't buy it at the time, so I was ecstatic to see it was in the sale! In my local store they only had a size 10 left which I didn't mind as it meant the tee was more comfy and baggy - I don't like tight fitting t-shirts. The print is gorgeous too, on first glance it looks like a cosmic print but it's actually a map of Europe.

For months of feeling like the only person ever without a pair, I finally got my hands on some Black Milk leggings! I was originally intending to purchase the Call Of Napoleon leggings but after much thought I chose the Cathedral leggings instead. I completely recommend buying the real thing as opposed to the copy cats popping up around the internet, as the print is so much better quality and the material is more comfortable and breathable. To see how I would style these, check out yesterday's OOTD post here.

I can never get enough of big warm jumpers during the winter months, and I'm a sucker for Fair Isle prints. I was browsing the Urban Outfitters sales and this woolly beauty caught my eye. I love how it's so traditional and cute but the dip dyed bottom adds an on trend quirk to it. It's even better on - I hate tight wool jumpers so the fact that this is slightly baggy makes me love it even more, it looks great with Levi shorts, opaque tights and Doc Martens.

Marc Jacobs is my absolute queen (I had to!) when it comes to perfume - I bought Daisy a few years ago and I fell in love with this one after smelling it in Boots one day. It's got such a lovely, floral, girly scent to it which matches the stunning bottle to absolute perfection. I adore Marc's perfume packaging, the beautiful flower bottles look amazing on display on your dressing table. This is definitely my signature scene for 2013!

These were another purchase made in the Urban Outfitters sale. My mum pointed them out to me when we were on the website and kindly bought them for me (Best. Mum. Ever). I wasn't sure how easy they would be to style but as they're absolutely gorgeous I didn't care. I was wrong though - these flatforms look amazing with everything, be it disco pants and a leather jacket or a skirt and blouse. Thank you mum! <3

What did you get for Christmas and in the sales?
